Springfield is located in Greene County, Missouri.  It is the third largest city in the state of Missouri and the county seat for Greene County.   Surrounded by smaller cities, Springfield is located 30 miles North of Branson and 165 miles South of Kansas City Missouri.  Springfield is the link to many smaller towns including Ozark, Nixa, Republic, Willard, Strafford, Rogersville and Sparta. Interstate 44, Highway 65 and Highway 160 are the major roads leading to Springfield 

 In Springfield, since January 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018, 3559 homes sold.  429 homes are currently under contract and 551 remain on the market.  To summarize, 296 homes are selling every month, leaving 1.87 months supply of homes to market.  Interest rates remain under 5% and buyers are scrambling to find homes before they increase in price.  New homes sales are on the rise due to construction costs.
